Posture is easily misunderstood as only an upright rigid line which is not applicable during movement. The spine has 37 vertebrae with small gliding joints between each vertebra, which are designed for movement. Good postural habits are therefore also important as soon as you start moving to perform daily tasks and enjoy an active lifestyle.
The body is a mechanical structure that must be able to move and handle load. When we move & pick things up, we have to adhere to the same "movement & load" guidelines that are applicable in the engineering world to prevent overstraining and collapse.
