We are the only accredited network practice in Bloemfontein that provide Workability products as part of our Physio services.
The main focus of Workability Network practices, is to restore function of the injured worker to safely return to work as soon as possible. This benefits both the client and employer. As an accredited Network practice for Workability, we caters for the full rehabilitation process by means of work conditioning (strengthening) and work hardening (work simulation). We communicate with all stake holders for the best outcome for everyone. Communication with the employer is to educate and inform them about the graded return to work protocol to get the injured worker safely back to his own occupation.
WHAT BENEFITS COULD YOU EXPECT?
• You will receive a comprehensive Initial assessment from a physiotherapist, a doctor, and possibly an occupational therapist.
• A Physiotherapist will work with you to set treatment goals.
• The therapist will tailor a Personalised Treatment Plan including structured exercise and a home program.
• You will be equipped with pain management strategies.
• Your Workability Case Coordinator will support you telephonically before, during, as well as after completion of the program.

WORK REHABILITATION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
WRAP is an active rehabilitation program for patients who have sustained an injury at work, with the aim of getting them back to work and life in the shortest time possible.
The WRAP program is driven by physio and occupational therapist who are Injured on Duty (IOD) specialist and are equipped to assess your injury as well as understand if your injury will have an impact on your ability to work and / or cope at home.
WHAT DOES THE WRAP PROGRAM COVER
The program takes a comprehensive and holistic approach to pain and provides individualised treatment to patients. The cost of this program is free to patients who are employed and their employers are registered with Workman’s Compensation.
DO YOU HAVE BACK OR NECK PAIN?
Workability has developed a functional rehabilitation program used by accredited physiotherapists, occupational therapists and doctors to help you take back the control over your pain and your activities, so that you can get back to the life you want.
We call it BNAP – the Back & Neck Assistance Program. BNAP is an evidence based and active rehabilitation program aimed to help patients living with chronic back and neck pain to improves function, treat the cause of their pain and improve their quality of life.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
This program will not cost you anything as the funds will come out of the risk portion of your medical aid fund and not out of your day to day benefits.
It is important that you complete the program to ensure that this cost is not wasted and that you get optimal benefit from the program.
Rehabilitation does not always mean to undo or reverse damage caused by disease or trauma but rather to restore and assist the individual to optimal health, functioning and well-being.
